Rough translation,.. I have my standpoint on the song’s lyrical meaning, but I guess everyone should. My outlook probably paints the translations which I try to avoid, but the game of translating the sense of a phrase is fun. :S

Day 06: A Song that Reminds You of Somewhere
PANTHEIST — ENVY US

Reminds me of high school, when I was first beginning to truly delve and figure out which type(s) of metal I really liked.  This song by Pantheist, a funeral doom metal band, really uplifted me despite the ridiculously slow tempo, haha.  I think this fits in fairly nicely with my previous post — despite the slightly morbid lyrical theme, their songs made me feel a bit better about death & dying.
